Giardini d’Agrumi festival 2024

From 13 to 14 April 2024, the picturesque town of Gargnano, on the shores of Lake Garda, will be transformed into a paradise of scents and colors through the Giardini d'Agrumi event. This event, now in its eighth edition, celebrates the lemon and citrus groves of Alto Garda.

What to see at Giardini d'Agrumi 2024

• Private Gardens and Historic Orangery: During the event, over 20 private gardens and historic orangery will open their doors to the public. These spaces, cultivated according to traditional techniques, offer a unique experience of scents and colours.
       
  
• Unique Lemons: you can taste 50 varieties of citrus fruits, with the prized Volkamariano Red Lemon, a fruit which in the climate of mid-Garda is special with a unique taste in the world.
      
• Exhibitions and Cultural Events: The former Municipal Palace of Gargnano will host the exhibition “Citrus, portraits of citrus fruits. “The botanical watercolors of Angela Petrini”. Furthermore, there will be cultural meetings, guided tours, educational workshops, musical and artistic moments.
  
  
• Gastronomic Competition: The students of IPSEOA Caterina dè Medici of Gardone Riviera prepared dishes based on Garda citrus fruits.
    
• Tastings of Typical Products: You can taste typical products at the Terre & Sapori store in Gargnano.
      
• Citrus Gardens by Boat: A boat ride while sipping a lemonade on the lake (for a fee).

The VIII edition will take place on 13 and 14 April 2024: the initiative is organized by Terre e Sapori in collaboration with the Municipality of Gargnano and the Parish of San Martino.
